ONLINE COLORIMETER
Model 2310 reads color of online products. It has diffuse geometry and CIELAB filters. The sensor has a hot mirror lens option with cooling to allow reading online products up to 135-F. Spectral information between 400-780nm is used to calculate CIELAB (L*a*b*) color values and color difference (Delta E) values. Either D65 or C illuminates can be selected. The software has storage with recall of standards and measurements. Standard features of the software are the display of Delta L*, Delta a*, Delta b* and Delta E* trend plots. Pass-Fail values can be set for each trend line with warning shown for each value. The sensor is designed to take a reading every ten seconds but is able to read every second under certain conditions. Readings can be summed and displayed as an averaged value. A Xenon lamp (approx. 1 million readings) provides illumination for the reading. The sensor is positioned 2.5-inches above the measurement surface. Contamination on the measurement window is calibrated out of the reading. Calibration is manual and required every shift. Hitch management software is standard to correlate the online values to bench top instruments.
